Terms and Conditions

  1. Bookings:
  • Booking forms need to be completed online (which will then be sent to us)  so that we can respond with an Invoice.
  • Dietary requirements (this only applies to face-to-face training) need to be filled in completely and accurately. Unfortunately, catering arrangements cannot be altered on the day of the training.
  • Neither MikeRoSoft Pty Ltd nor Mike Roussos can be held responsible for providing a laptop on the training day (this only applies to face-to-face training) unless specifically indicated on your Booking form.
  • We may not be able to assist with last-minute bookings (although we do exhaust all avenues to try to assist) and we will then kindly request that you book for the next available date.
  • Attendee’s mobile no & email addresses need to be completed accurately on the Booking form for Attendance Register & Certification purposes. Neither MikeRoSoft Pty Ltd nor Mike Roussos can be held responsible for any certificate errors due to incorrect information on the Booking form.
  • Shortly after payment/official Purchase Order documentation has been received, a Final training confirmation will be sent out stating the details of the course, training venue with a link to the map for directions (this only applies to face-to-face training), the dates as well as the starting times.
  • We kindly request that our clients read thoroughly through our course outlines to check prerequisites and course information. We provide questionnaires to allow prospective learners to assess what level of course is appropriate for them. Should you book for the incorrect course or course level and only realise this on the day of training, we will try to assist you to book for the appropriate course on another occasion (at the appropriate cost), but cancellation at that late stage is not possible.
  1. Virtual Training / Using Own Laptop In Class:
  • All Clients must provide their laptops with the appropriate software installed for the training session – either in class or online.
  • If this is not possible for the learner and adequate notice is given (this only applies to face-to-face training), we can arrange to hire a laptop with the appropriate software installed for the learner – at the cost incurred. This request needs to be made at least 5 working days before the course is due to commence.
  • Clients are required to have a stable internet connection & a working headset available in order to be able to participate in virtual training.
  • No refunds will be processed if the learner cannot participate due to the above not being adhered to.
  1. Cancellation & Refund Policy:
  • The full course fee will be forfeited for no-shows or cancellations less than 5 working days before the course commencement date.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be in writing and reach us via email at least 5 (five) working days before the course commencement date.
  • Although we go to great lengths to ensure that training proceeds as scheduled, MikeRoSoft Pty Ltd and Mike Roussos reserve the right to cancel or postpone training if it becomes clear that an inadequate number of learners have booked for that session. If this occurs, learners are automatically given credit towards any other course we run in the next year – or the client can request a refund.
  • MikeRoSoft Pty Ltd and Mike Roussos suggest clients wait until 5 working days before course commencement to confirm that a course will go ahead as scheduled – before booking flights and accommodation.  Neither MikeRoSoft Pty Ltd nor Mike Roussos will be held responsible for costs associated with the cancellation of classes, such as flights and accommodation for clients.
  • If you are not able to attend the scheduled training as per your booking, you can arrange for a replacement attendee in writing addressed to the following email address.
  • Refund requests will go through an approval process and, should it be approved, we will advise on the refund payment time frame – refunds (sadly) cannot be processed instantly.
  • Full refunds will not be made in any event where MikeRoSoft Pty Ltd and Mike Roussos have already used business resources to assist & deliver any form of supportive services to our client. In such case, a partial refund may be considered, subject to the details that emerge during the investigation & approval process.
  • ‘Cooling off period’ – Our clients have the right to request a refund/partial refund within 5 days after payment/PO, should you not be booked on training during the next 6 working days.
    Should you be booked on training during the next 6 working days, no refund can be made as we will already have incurred operational expenses as a result of your training booking.
  • Should you cancel your training more than 5 working days before training attendance but you don’t qualify for the 5 days cooling off period, you may request a credit note & your credit remains valid for 12 months and may be used towards any other courses that we have on offer.
  1. Invoices, Payment & Credit:
  • Please ensure that payment is made at the time you make the booking.
  • Should you have any form of credit with us, note that credit is non-refundable and valid for 12 months only.
  • Confirm payment OR kindly provide us with a Purchase Order document at least 2 weeks before the course starts.
  • Purchase Orders should include the exact date on which payment was made by your company or you can provide us with the payment date and the course date for which payments were made, in an email.
  • Please use your MikeRoSoft Invoice number as a reference for the payment
  1. Certificates:
  • We use a digital certificate system for online courses, via email after the training.
  • Printed certificates will be handed out at in-class training sessions.
  • MikeRoSoft Pty Ltd and Mike Roussos hold accreditation with Microsoft for the courses in our offering.
  1. Group Discounts or Discounts for Multiple bookings:
  • If you book for 5 or more learners, you get a discount of between 8 to 10% (depending on the number booked for).
  • If you book 5 or more learners for a training session to be held on your company premises, you qualify for a 15% discount.
  • If you book for one of our A-Z courses (Excel A-Z – 3 days Word A-Z – 3 days PowerPoint A-Z – 2 days or Outlook A-Z – 2 days) you qualify for a discounted price for the combination (see price list for prices for each combination).  If you book for a group of 5 or more learners for one of these combinations, you get an additional 5% discount on the discounted price for that combination.
  • If you want such a combination course to be held at your site – with at least 5 learners – you get an additional 7.5% discount on the discounted price for that combination (see price list for prices for each combination).
